Vampire

As the name would suggest, this genre deals with vampires with the Supernatural. The shows can vary as vampires can be seen as good or bad characters depending on what other genres are linked. For example, if comedy was included, then the vampires would appear more comedic and less dangerous compared to a vampire series with Horror included in the genre.

Example

An example of this genre is the series “Rosario + Vampire”. Published in 2004, this story follows Tsukune Aono, an average teenager who is unable to go into any of his local schools, as he does not qualify for them. Due to this, his parents are happy to enroll him in a private school called Yokai Academy, which, he later finds out that this is a school for monsters. This school teaches monsters how to coexist with humans as well as how to disguise themselves to look like humans.

This is where he meets and becomes friends with fellow student Moka Akashiya, a friendly vampire girl who enjoys the taste of blood. Now, Tsukune must live his school life without letting anyone know that he is a human as there is a rule that state, any real humans on campus are to be killed.
